Essential Oil of the Week: doTERRA Pink Pepper


doTERRA PINK PEPPER



Pink pepper is similar in appearance to the black peppercorn but is actually related to cashews. The Pink Peppercorn has been used for its amazing health benefits since ancient times.

Benefits:

Supports a healthy metabolism, immune and respiratory systems

Helps our body maintain healthy cellular function and overall cellular health

Calms the nervous system

Assists in maintaining healthy blood sugar and cholesterol levels

Anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-microbial

Digestive stimulant, anti-spasmodic

May help balance blood sugar

May help with hypertension and hypotension

Uses:

Can be combined with Fractionate Coconut Oil for a soothing massage (1-2 drops of the

Essential Oil with a dime size of FCO)

May help calm and soothe the nervous system when taken internally ****

Diffuse or simply inhale directly to promote feelings of alertness

Blend with some of the citrus or floral oils to create an invigorating aroma

May help promote healthy cellular immune function and response****


Directions:

Diffusion:

3-4 drops in your diffuser

Internal:

Dilute 1 drop in 4 fl. oz. of liquid (preferably water) ****

Topical:

Apply 1-2 drops to desired area. Dilute with a carrier oil to minimize any skin

Sensitivity.

Neat – undiluted but always check to be sure you don’t have any skin sensitivities

Dilute with children, infants and elderly
